Name: Lucio Lopez
Synopsis: Officers responded to a report of a man with a gunshot wound about 6:40 p.m. and found Lopez, 22, near the back of a home in the 1500 block of Monterey Avenue, just east of Kerr Avenue in Modesto. Police would not say if the victim was found inside or outside. Lopez of Modesto was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
