MODESTO RAMS — Youth football & cheer program is taking registration for the 2010 football season on March 18 at Mountain Mike’s Pizza at 1221 East Orangeburg, Modesto, from 6-8 p.m. Cheerleaders need to be registered for their uniform fittings during this session. Applications for coaches (football & cheer) will also be received. Every kid plays and there are no tryouts, but there is limited space for football: 40 kids per squad. Quarterback and wide receiver camp, in its 16th year, is June 28-30 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Quarterback cost is $125, receivers are $100. OFFICIALS TRAINING — The NCOA-South Football Division is recruiting high school officials for the 2010 season. We are looking for individuals with dedication, commitment and the desire to officiate high school football. We will provide all the necessary training. No experience is necessary. Training begins April 26 with our general membership meeting.
