RIPON SEA LIONS — Recreational summer swim team competes in the Mid-Valley Swim League. Practices begin April 1 and continue through July. Practices are held daily at the Ripon High School pool. Parent information night is Monday, March 8 at 7 p.m. in the multi-use room at Colony Oak School, 22241 South Murphy Rd., Ripon. Information is on our website, www.riponsealions.com. LIVINGSTON WAVES — “Catch the Wave” will be the hope of every new swimmer on the Livingston Recreation’s newest swim program. The Livingston Waves Swim Team will be enrolling swimmers March 20 at City Hall in Livingston from 9 a.m. to noon. Enrollment is open to participants ages 5-19. The program begins practice in April and will run through the end of July. Participants must be able to swim the length of the pool on their stomach and back without assistance. A placement assessment will be held March 27 at 9 a.m. at the Livingston High School Pool.
