Students, friends and neighbors holding candles gathered Saturday evening in front of the Del Rio home of Ken and Diane Terhune, who were killed there a few days before.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department said it had no new information to release on the investigation into the deaths of the Terhunes. Their 24-year-old son Cameron was arrested in connection with their deaths and is being held without bail at the county jail.
Ashton Smart, a Central Catholic High School student who organized the vigil, said participants prayed for the souls of those who were lost. The Terhunes' younger son, Elliott, 16, attends Central Catholic.
