Regarding “Victim of year’s first homicide found in alley near downtown” (Jan. 7, Page B-1): The man found dead in an alley was my friend. I wonder how many would recognize Ricky Conway as the bald guy who worked with me at the vacuum station at Five-Minute Car Wash? We called him “Gung Ho” because he usually ran to every car. He was well-liked by everyone. He was a good co-worker; he was my friend. I don’t know the circumstances surrounding his death, but I needed to say how I felt about the man. I will miss him, as will many others.
