STANISLAUS COUNTY -- Name: William Ashley
Synopsis: Authorities found Ashley, 55, dead in a west Modesto home Sunday. He had been shot to death along with two dogs. Firefighters found Ashley and the dogs about 11:30 a.m. in a home in the 1500 block of Victoria Drive. Emergency workers were called to the home after two people reported that a man inside was possibly not breathing. Firefighters forced their way inside and found Ashley. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect: No one has been named.
