Seth Hernandez kicked a 25-yard field goal with one second remaining to give Central Catholic High School a 30-28 victory over Sutter on Saturday night in Sutter.

David Biscevic's 25-yard fumble return for a touchdown, James Orth's 11-yard run and T.J. Belton's 12-yard scamper gave the Raiders a 21-0 lead in the second quarter, but the Huskies came back to take a 28-27 lead on a short touchdown run with three minutes left in the fourth quarter.

A 44-yard pass helped set up the winning field goal for the Raiders (1-1), who registered their first victory under new coach Roger Canepa. Sutter, the North Section Division II champion last season, fell to 3-1.

Belton rushed for 95 yards in 19 carries, and Dylan Swartz completed 12 of 34 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown, a 5-yard toss to Orth.

TURLOCK CHR. 40, JIM ELLIOT CHR. 21, at Stockton -- Robbie Smallwood completed 18 of 25 passes for 355 yards and four touchdowns to lift Turlock Christian. Cody Alldrin caught 10 passes for 224 yards and touchdowns of 27 and 44 yards.
