A three-alarm fire caused extensive damage to a vacant Turlock home early Friday, the Turlock Fire Department said. No injuries were reported.

The fire occurred about 5:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Sierra Drive, just north of East Canal Drive.

Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 20 minutes, but fire crews remained at the home for about three hours. Fire investigators had not determined the cause or origin of the fire. The blaze caused about $400,000 in damage. Turlock fire officials ask anyone with information about the fire to call investigators at 668-5580.
