Modesto-born twin sisters celebrate turning 8 on 8-8-08

By the numbers, McKenzie and Madison Morrow celebrated about as lucky a birthday as one can find. The girls were born in Modesto on Aug. 8, 2000, so they turned 8 Friday on the auspicious 8/8/08.

"I didn't even think about it until last year," said their mother, Bev Morrow.

She and her husband, Aaron Morrow, moved the family to Junction City, Ore., in 2006. The family is back in the Modesto area for a visit, and the twins celebrated their birthday at the Denair home of their uncle and aunt, Dan and Frieda Parker.
