Riverbank hatches 'Birdie' plan

Riverbank Community Theater is staging the upbeat 1950s rock musical "Bye Bye Birdie" from Aug. 1-10 at the Del Rio Theater. Songs include "Put on a Happy Face" and "Kids." Tickets are $8-$14; 480-2601.
