Corral homers twice but MJC women fall

DIAZ ADVANCES, at Stockton — Modesto's Manuel Diaz, 23, defeated Clovis' David Cano in four rounds in the Central Valley Tournament at the Civic Auditorium.

Diaz qualified to compete in the Golden Gloves Tournament in Tulare on March 22 with the Police Activities League North Team. Diaz has trained with PAL since he was 10 years old.
