PILATES FOR CANCER SURVIVORS: Cancer survivors and their families or caregivers are invited to register for a free Pilates class series, beginning Tuesday. The six-week series is part of the Complementary Therapy Program presented by Cancer Services of Memorial Medical Center. All moves can be modified for participants, whether standing or seated. Seating is limited and participants must be 18 or older. For information or to register, call Cancer Services at 569-7789.

WOMEN'S PROGRESSIVE CLUB: The Women's Progressive Club of Modesto has something for everyone. Want to make a real difference here in Stanislaus County, meet new friends of all ages and interests and mostly find a special place to grow and blossom? Join club members for a luncheon and program Wednesday, starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Modesto Elks Lodge, 645 Charity Way. The fee is $10.
