$1.5M wasted on pedestrian bridge

As I drive to my farm every morning, I can't help but think what a waste of $1.5 million it was to build the pedestrian overpass to the new Enochs High School. Students casually walk through traffic on Sylvan and Roselle avenues; a tenth of the students actually use the bridge as others are either too lazy to walk over it or it doesn't make sense for those who live west of Roselle. What happens when the Tivoli project begins and students are walking to school north of Sylvan to get to Enochs? Don't cry about cost; can you put a cost on a kid's life?
