KATIE CANADAS

Beyer senior

After playing in the prestigious First Tee Open in Pebble Beach, Canadas went on to win the MMC Tournament by shooting a 73 -- her career low. Her 77 at the section Division I South Tournament was good for fifth place.

KRYSTA CLARK

East Union junior

She fired a 78 at Diamond Oaks Golf Course, good for second place among all players, to lead the VOL champs to the section Division IV championship for the second consecutive season.

BELEN HERNANDEZ

Golden Valley junior

Produced one of the finest rounds in the district this season when she fired a par 72 to win the section Division I South Tournament by three strokes. She is one of four underclassmen named to this all-district team.

KIRSTEN LOCKE

Bret Harte junior

The MLL MVP and three-time all-leaguer played best under pressure, placing second in the Division IV tourney, shooting a 76 to finish a stroke back at the Masters and then placing 22nd in Northern California.

ALLYSSA PENA

Johansen senior

She was selected the conference MVP, then finished second in the Division I South tourney. Her 41 on the difficult front nine at Spring Creek helped her to an 87 and 29th place at the NorCal tourney.

EMILY SZABO

Turlock senior

One of the surprises of this season, Szabo had a remarkable run of 78, 76 and 78 at Pheasant Run, Creekside and Auburn Hills to earn a NorCal berth. Turlock was the Division I South Tournament champ.

CHRISTINA UHALDE

Johansen sophomore

All-district as a freshman, Uhalde has

an opportunity to be a four-time selection after leading the Vikings to the top of the MMC. Her 76 at Creekside was good for sixth at the Division I South Tournament.

MARY KRUPKA

Turlock coach

Krupka has developed one of the district's top programs at Turlock, where her teams often rely on quality depth -- Heather Spencer was one of the district's top No. 2 players -- rather than an individual to win titles.
