SANTA CLARA -- Have you ever taken a look inside the belly of your computer and been amazed at the amount of wiring and boards and components that hold all the information?

Well, if you have a hankering to delve into the world of technology and wonder about the life of a chip (no, not the kind that goes great with salsa) head to Santa Clara and the Intel Museum.

With more than 10,000 square feet of space, this museum takes you into the world of technology. Visitors can engage more than 30 hands-on interactive exhibits, which explain the history, development and future of both Intel and the Silicon Valley's chip making facilities.

Guests learn their name and the alphabet in binary code, view live video feeds from working "clean rooms" and also get the chance to dress the part, as they pull on the "bunny suit."

Visitors can take a self-guided audio tour (available in seven languages). Visit Silicon Valley's Intel Museum and "chip" away at techno-history.
