The Modesto Bee welcomes expressions of all views. Letters should be brief and become the property of The Modesto Bee. They may be edited and republished in any format. They must include a valid mailing address and telephone number. Pseudonyms and initials will not be used.

Letters should be sent as plain text, not include attachments and should be 200 words or less.
