  • Someone may have made multiple cement anchors in the warehouse where Scott Peterson kept his boat -- which had only one anchor when investigators searched it, Detective Dodge Hendee said.

  • Forensic pathologist Brian Peterson, no relation to the defendant, said Conner Peterson was not born vaginally, but he could not rule out whether the boy was delivered by Caesarean section.

  • Results of a hotly disputed DNA test will be allowed and considered, Judge Al Girolami ruled. The test suggests that a hair found in Peterson's boat was not his and may have been his wife's, boosting a prosecution theory that Peterson used the boat at some point to transport Laci Peterson's body.

  • Laci Peterson's badly decomposed remains were recovered with all extremities missing, Brian Peterson testified. He said there was no sign of cuts, sawing or bullet wounds. He could not determine the cause of death.

  • Conner Peterson's body was recovered with a thin stretch of plastic tape knotted about the neck and chest, Brian Peterson said. He said the tiny body could have become entangled in ocean debris.

  • Scott Peterson used his home computer in early December to research wind conditions or water currents for San Francisco Bay and to check out Central Valley lakes and reservoirs, computer investigator Kirk Stockham testified.

    He acknowledged that Peterson also visited sport fishing Web sites around the same time.
