Don't cut seniors' benefits

I can't believe what I read in the paper ("Some seniors will lose Medicare premium help," Oct. 28, Page A-1). They are going to take $96.40 out of my Social Security. You might as well take $100. Most seniors are on Social Security alone. I have to work to make ends meet.

Some people might think $96 isn't much. Most seniors are also insurance poor. What should I drop -- health insurance, car insurance? Should I go on? The governor should cut some of the administrators not needed in schools. That is where the big bucks go. They cut in the wrong places -- police, fire, teachers, prison guards.

I don't have Medi-Cal. I make too much money, because I choose to work and not depend on others for help. There are some that depend of Medi-Cal that will be cut. California should be ashamed.
