A woman who reportedly became physically aggressive with staff at Salida Middle School was arrested just before 9 a.m. today.
The woman had been approached by a campus supervisor and asked if she had checked into the school office.
Officials put the campus on lockdown for the safety of students and staff until the arrest at 8:51, when the lockdown was lifted.
"Because of the rapid response by all staff, the adult was prevented from entering any room or having any contact with students," read a statement on the Salida Union School District Web site.
