In his freshman year, Arturo signed up for Ag Science in place of his Earth Science class. He also joined the Future Farmers of America."I signed up for a couple activities (for FFA), and from there it just escalated," he said.
Andrew has become a professional musician, maintained a high grade point average and played alongside marching bands from across the globe at the Beijing Olympics, all within the last two years of his high school career.
