Troop 146 Scout merits Eagle

Cameron Leon-Guerrero, a member of Troop 146 in Modesto, has been awarded his Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

Cameron is a freshman at Modesto Christian High School.

He is the son of Everett and Jennifer Leon-Guerrero. Cameron's brother Nick is also an Eagle Scout.

Cameron's Eagle project was making and installing more than 150 garden markers at a community garden at Church of the Cross in Modesto.

Troop 146 is sponsored by the church.
